
In the light of the reorientation of our group we have decided to simplify the group’s structure and have merged the Blohm+Voss Repair GmbH (HRB 124109) into the Blohm+Voss Shipyards GmbH (HRB 59219) with economic effect from the end of 30 September 2015 (registered in the commercial register as of 31 March 2016). Blohm+Voss Shipyards GmbH has been renamed to Blohm+Voss GmbH on 31 March 2016. As a result of this merger the assets and liabilities of the Blohm+Voss Repair GmbH are assumed by the Blohm+Voss GmbH in accordance with Section 20 para. 1 No. 1 UmwG (Transformation Act). Blohm+Voss GmbH keeps the relevant company data of the former Blohm+Voss Shipyards GmbH:

Together with the corporate changes a new organisational structure is implemented within Blohm+Voss as of 1
April 2016 as well. The core elements of the new organisational structure are four operative Business Units, integrating all our business activities.
Our Business Unit Mega Yacht is focusing on newbuilding, refit and lifecycle for Mega-Yachts. In the Business Unit Ship Service we are concentrating our activities for the repair, the conversion and the service for commercial vessels, cruise ships and naval vessels as well as offshore units. The Business Unit Power Plant + Marine Equipment Services is comprising the areas engine service, spare parts for ship components as well as for onshore plants. Finally, the Business Unit Production Service pools our production services.
Additionally, the appearance of Blohm+Voss will be changed; the corporate as well as the organisational changes will be reflected in a new logo.
The new structure stands for a higher degree of clarity and transparency and increases the efficiency. It stands for more dynamic and flexibility in our company and provides for a clear positioning in our target markets as well as towards our business partners.
